Rhiannon Stannard


Rhiannon is currently away on maternity leave.

Rhiannon joined Govett Quilliam in September 2019 and works in the Family Team led by Kaye McKenzie.
Rhiannon began her legal career working as a clerk for a boutique construction law firm in Auckland, before making the move back to her hometown and working as a family and employment lawyer here in Taranaki.


Rhiannon has a range of experience in the family law sphere and general legal matters, and assists clients with matters such as child care and contact disputes, domestic violence matters, relationship property disputes, paternity applications and guardianship disputes.

Outside of Govett Quilliam

Rhiannon is an active member of the Taranaki Community involved as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters, volunteers for the Citizens Advice Service and is on the board of the Taranaki Women's Refuge.
Rhiannon spends much of her spare time travelling the countryside on weekends, heading to concerts, exploring the outdoors and spending time with friends, family and her beautiful husky Aurora.
