With a background in Agricultural Science, Angela worked in the primary sector for many years including seven in the thoroughbred breeding industry. She worked overseas in both the UK and Ireland for thirteen years, before returning home in 2010.
While completing her law degree she continued to work in several areas, including the dairy manufacturing industry, the management of foreign trusts and ecological contract delivery.
Currently Angela's focus is in working to help incorporated societies prepare for the compulsory re-registration process along with rural sales, purchase and succession planning.
Outside of Govett Quilliam
Angela is currently living in South Taranaki. She was born and raised in Auckland but has lived and worked across Aotearoa. Family is important to Angela, who has a multinational family scattered across the globe. Angela is involved in a variety of community groups in Stratford including the Steering Committee for Stratford Park, and a member of the Taranaki Racing Club. She enjoys outdoor activities, looking after animals, theatre, and reading a good book.
