Trina has an extensive background in the Financial Services industry, having held positions in Customer Service, Training, Management and Compliance. Her career has seen her spend periods of time in Auckland, Wellington and Hawkes Bay, before returning to Taranaki. She also held the position of Senior Trustee with a national Trustee Company which involved full administration of Estates and Trust Management, Wills, Enduring Power of Attorneys, Personal Assist, as well as assisting with other matters.
In 2022, Trina completed her Legal Executive Diploma, becoming a Registered Legal Executive in 2023. She also holds a Certificate and Diploma in Insurance (ANZIIF), as well as Qualified Insurance Broker status through IBANZ.
Trina works closely with Lynell Taunoa and Mikala Galvin who are the firms Client Trust Administrators. This team is responsible for reviewing Trusts annually and ensuring our clients receive the best level of advice and service.
Outside of Govett Quilliam
Trina enjoys spending time outdoors including camping in Summer, on the beach with her family or enjoying the many fabulous walking tracks in Taranaki. Living on the edge of the city on a lifestyle block with her many animals keeps her fit and busy, as well as attending regular exercise classes herself. She is also dedicated to her children's sporting activities, having coached and managed her daughters netball teams for many years and an avid sideline supporter at her son's various sports games.
