Helen specialises in corporate and commercial law. Prior to joining GQ, she had a number of in-house counsel roles in large corporates in Auckland, most recently at Genesis Energy. She has expertise across a range of corporate and commercial areas of law, including commercial contracting, corporate governance, IT and intellectual property. Helen also has specialist experience in the energy sector that Taranaki is so well known for.
Outside of Govett Quilliam
Having recently relocated from Auckland, you will usually find Helen out exploring the Taranaki region with her partner and young son. She also enjoys checking out the local coffee and food outlets, walking her dog, and reading a good book (especially a classic).
