Roadmap to re-registration
12-1:30pm, Thursday 30 November | GQ New Plymouth
The way incorporated societies are run in New Zealand, including their duties and responsibilities, is changing under the new Act (passed into law on April 5 2022). All incorporated societies (roughly 24,000 NZ wide) will need to re-register and comply with the new regulations in the transition period between October 2023 and April 2026.
Join Catherine Grogan and Beatrice Chamberlain at the end of November as they discuss the new regulations and what's needed to re-register, followed by an open Q&A to answer your questions.
Topics covered will include:
- How and why the Incorporated Societies Act has changed
- What happens if you choose not to re-register
- Next steps and how to re-register
