Legal Support Role Available

Organised? Proactive? Tech savvy? We have an opportunity for a positive and dynamic person to develop a future-focused legal support role within our busy Personal Planning Team. Centred at the heart of the team, the role supports a partner, lawyers and legal executives to operate an efficient and effective practice. In addition to providing document management and administration support, the role will focus on supporting your team’s workflow and billing.

Your Role

The key functions and day-to-day responsibilities include: maintaining client files; producing documentation; preparing invoices and statements; liaising with clients, law firms and third parties; scheduling appointments and meetings; managing diaries; and reviewing matter progression and pipeline of work. There is also scope to lead innovation projects that improve the GQ experience, both for clients and our team.

Your Strengths

  • Previous experience working in professional services or corporate environment
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and complete tasks efficiently and effectively
  • A passion for technology and interest in legal innovation
  • Strong Word formatting skills 
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office products (including Word and Teams) and Adobe
  • Transcription of dictation
  • Touch-typing (40-60 WPM)
  • Strong proof-reading skills
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for clients
  • Positive attitude and ability to be calm under pressure
  • The desire to grow and develop the role
