Legal Support / Personal Assistant

We have an opportunity for a positive and proactive person to develop a future-focused legal support role within our busy Family Law Team. Centred at the heart of the team, the role supports partners, associates and lawyers to operate an efficient and effective practice. In addition to providing document management and administration support, the role will focus on supporting your team’s workflow and billing.

The key functions and day-to-day responsibilities include: maintaining digital client files; producing documentation, liaising with clients, other law firms and courts; preparing invoices and statements; scheduling appointments and meetings; managing diaries; reviewing matter progression and pipeline of work and updating relevant databases, and reviewing and tracking team budget and billing data. There is also scope to lead innovation projects that improve the GQ experience, both for clients and our team.

Your strengths:

  • Previous experience working in professional services or corporate environment
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and complete tasks efficiently and effectively
  • A passion for technology and interest in legal innovation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for clients
  • Positive attitude and ability to be calm under pressure
  • The desire to grow and develop the role
