Understanding your legal responsibilities

12-1:30pm, Tuesday 7 May | GQ New Plymouth

Join Senior Associate Heather Froude to discuss the Mainzeal Supreme Court case and what the practical implications of that decision are for directors, particularly in relation to their duties not to trade recklessly or incur obligations unless the director believes those obligations can be met when required.

This seminar will cover what it means to be a director, and guest speaker Craig Hattle will share some practical implications for Directors in businesses and organisations of all sizes including the duties directors have to their company and shareholders, and their legal responsibilities under the Companies Act 1993, based on his experience in various Chair and Director roles.

A light lunch will be provided. Please register below to secure your complimentary spot.
