Lawyer or Legal Executive - Personal Planning Team

We require a lawyer or legal executive to join our highly regarded and busy Personal Planning Team based in New Plymouth and led by Catherine Grogan. Alongside this dedicated team and with frequent opportunities to work closely with our Family, Property and Corporate & Commercial teams, you will enjoy working proactively.  With a flair for initiative and a natural personable approach essential to supporting our clients, you will demonstrate integrity and drive.  Ideally, we are looking for someone who has at least 3 years' work experience in personal planning or related area of law.

You will be exposed to a variety of work, including:

  • Providing advice on existing trust structures, formation of new trusts and requirements under the Trusts Act 2019, winding up trusts
  • Estate planning, including preparing testamentary documents and being involved with succession planning matters
  • Supporting our trust review team with related legal matters that arise out of trust reviews

The role is offered full-time but part-time hours could be considered.
